UCMT Family of Schools Career Services Department is staffed by
fourteen full-time career counselors who's only job is to start
you in a fantastic new career. Massage employers visit UCMT's job
fairs several times a year to  recruit
therapists for their operations, and many of our students are placed
even before they graduate. The Utah College of Massage Therapy Family
of Schools, with campuses in Salt Lake City, Utah Valley, Las Vegas,
Tempe, Phoenix, and Denver, is proud to offer you state-of-the-art
training in massage and bodywork therapies and highly effective
career services placement through exclusive recruiting visits and
job fairs with industry-leading massage employers.
The Professional Massage
Therapy Program prepares students to become successful practicing
bodyworkers after they have receive their massage therapy certification.
The Program exceeds standards set by COMTA, by national certification,
and by most state and municipal governments for licensing. The Professional
Massage Therapy Program teaches the art and science of massage therapy,
while also teaching sound business practices which prepare students
for success in the marketplace. Due to the fact that we are training
health care practitioners we include CPR certification training,
First Aid, and information on HIV/AIDS in our Professional Massage
Therapy Certification curriculum. The UCMT Family of Schools not
only prepares students to become proficient bodyworkers but also
trains students to become successful in the marketplace, either
as a sole practitioner, an independent contractor, or an employee.
