Tabby Adams

Tabby Adams graduated from the first Professional Evening Program at the Layton Auxiliary Classroom of the Utah College of Massage Therapy in December of 1998. Inspired by her mother, Debby Adams, a single mother of six children who worked her way through school and opened her own successful private practice in 1993, Tabby enrolled in the UCMT in January of 1998.

In the fall of 1998, Tabby attended a recruiting visit at the Salt Lake Campus. Spa Las Palmas at the Rancho Mirage Marriott from the Palm Springs area in California was looking for some good therapists. Tabby successfully interviewed with the spa and began working there only one week after she graduated.

Only after three months of working at Spa Las Palmas, Tabby was highlighted in a Los Angeles magazine with exceptional reviews from a featured travel writer. The writer had been blown away by Tabby’s customer service, massage and bodywork techniques and her "beingness."

After five months of working at the Spa, Tabby was promoted to Assistant Spa Trainer. She was also featured in promotional videos for the resort and worked in a daytime program designed by the spa to teach the public about the benefits of massage and related bodywork.

Tabby is currently working at the Salt Lake Campus of the Utah College of Massage Therapy Family of Schools as a Career Counselor. It is her desire to help graduates, students and potential students find the same success and happiness that she has seen as a massage therapist.
