Laurie McCuistion

Laurie McCuistion graduated from the Salt Lake campus of the Utah College of Massage Therapy in the late spring of 1998. Upon graduation, Laurie set up a successful practice of her own in the Salt Lake Valley. She recently returned to her home state of Virginia and has been building a clientele in the Virginia Beach area. Her company, Health Springs has become quite successful. Laurie also worked for a massage school, the Fuller School of Massage Therapy in Virginia Beach as well. She recently sent the following letter to the Corporate Office of the Utah College of Massage Therapy Family of Schools:

"Since my graduation from UCMT in the spring of 1998, I have maintained a private practice in the Salt Lake City area, traveled and now have returned to my home in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have opened a massage therapy center and life is well. In my travels, I have come to be in awe and dismay of the massage schools and therapists I have encountered. Without going into great length, I will just say that everyday I thank God I received my training at UCMT. I now know one of the reasons I was place in Utah. Many, many times I hear from my clients that my services are the best they have had and I credit UCMT for this. Not only was the training I received geared to make me a massage therapist, but to better and re-train my life. I felt as though I spent nine months at a sanctuary. In addition to my private practice, I am also an instructor and on the local and state boards of the AMTA."
