Kindra Liptak

Kindra Liptak graduated from the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in late December of 2000. Before graduating, Kindra interviewed with Spa Las Palmas from the Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Southern California. The spa was attending a job fair at the Nevada campus. She was offered a job soon after her interview.

She also attended the Judith Jackson Recruiting Visit at the Salt Lake branch of the Utah College of Massage Therapy. Kindra spoke with Barb Shannon, a representative of the Judith Jackson Corporation regarding their land-based spa, the Judith Jackson Center for Wellbeing in Greenwich, Connecticut. Kindra did not interview with Barb for the cruise ship that day, but flew back to Connecticut and interviewed with the spa director in late October.

The day of the interview, Kindra injured her arm, but decided to proceed with the 50 minute, hands-on interview regardless of her pain. After the interview, the spa director told Kindra that her massage was "superior to any of the other therapists currently working" there and that she "had the hands of a professional."

Kindra is currently working at the Judith Jackson Center for Wellbeing and making a fine living. She has a guaranteed hourly wage, an added commission as well as gratuity. And she was able to move back to where her family and friends live.
