Dan Krajack
Dan Krajack graduated from the Salt Lake Campus of the Utah College
of Massage Therapy in October of 2001. Since graduating, Dan has
been interviewing with several companies and doctors throughout
the Vail, Colorado area, seeking an environment that would offer
him an outlet to express and practice the work he loves, energy
work. After several let downs and breakdowns, Dan was snatched up
by a very excited chiropractor. The following was written by Cindy
Calzada, a Staff Instructor for UCMT, after conversing with Dan
over the phone:
"I talked to a recent graduate from D-63 last night, Dan Krajack.
He was so excited to share his story [that] he had to stop and breath
a couple of times to calm down. The feeling of accomplishment and
excitement in his voice brought me to a very grateful space once
again for what we are doing here at the UCMT Family of Schools.
"Dan has had a very challenging past to say the least and
what he discovered in school was a gift within himself that he has
learned how to share with others and allow some pretty awesome healing
to take place with his clients and his classmates. He has a unique
style of energy work that many of his instructors and graduates
in the field have experienced and cannot identify. But it is very
healing and powerful.
"Dan came to school afraid of this energy he felt, looking
for answers to what it was. He has taken huge steps and learned
to trust it, step aside from the ego and share it without agenda,
expectations or attachment to the results. He gave many of his free
time hours to instructors, successful graduates in the area and
anyone who would be willing to give him feedback and coaching. Dan
has taken everything he learned from this experience, combined it
with the Professional Development skills taught and charged out
into the world to make it happen for [himself.] As a result, Dan
moved to Vail, Colorado. After pursuing many options and hearing
over and over that nobody was hiring in the environment he wanted
to work in, the following is what just happened:
"He called one of the many chiropractic offices he was interested
in working in. They were not hiring but said he could send a resume
for [future consideration.] He went down to the office immediately
and asked for the doctor to hand his resume to [in person.] He talked
with the doctor and worked with being in relationship
through the conversation. He then enrolled the doctor to lay down
and feel his work right there. The doctor hired him on the spot
and had him work on the other doctor in the office. [The doctor
then] had him work on a patient within a couple [of] hours. [The
doctor then] scheduled him for 2 sessions the next day. [The doctor]
asked Dan what do you charge for this therapy? We want you
here full time and will pay you what you want. [The doctor
also] wants Dan to participate in research the doctors are [conducting]
with vibrational healing.
"So, here [Dan] goes, pursuing his dreams and healing the
world one body at a time."
